The staff of Country Store Venison Processing would like to thank you for allowing us to accommodate your venison processing needs for the 2013-2014 hunting season. Because of each of you, we had a terrific year! The 2014-2015 season is expected to be plentiful. With TWELVE successful years under our belt, we still continue to learn and adapt our processes to better serve your needs and thank you so much for your continued patronage! We will continue to process archery and pre-rifle season animals (both raw and processed orders) as they come in for the 2014 season. Therefore archers and pre-rifle season hunters will not have to wait until the first of the year to get their product back (hopefully).

We continue to streamline our behind the scenes procedures, below are three new procedures we will be adopting to more efficiently serve you:

1. We will be installing a Form, Fill, Seal Vacuum Machine :) - It basically will do two things for our process.......Cut our Vacuum Packaging time by 80% - we can focus more on filling your orders. It gives a much better vacuum, and lastly the seal has much better strength and it will ensure less leaking packages.

2. We have adopted a NEW NITE DROP OFF PROTOCOL. When you are dropping off your deer after hours, you as the hunter can fill out all applicable orders, and completely affix your order to your deer before departing. In years past, missed information, lost tags, lost time etc have occurred during this process resulting in inefficient order process. We have adopted this new system, as per our colleagues in the industry, to help both you the hunter and us the processor and ensure the NITE DROP OFF process much becomes more fluid. Please be aware of the new posted signs and follow instructions verbatim.

3. Lactic Acid Carcass Wash for ensuring all surface bacteria is killed during the skinning and or cleaning process. This gives you product better shelf life, as well as a much cleaner product.

Country Store Venison Processing has also reduced the number of processed product choices we will offer, to become more efficient as well. If you have a favorite product that we are not offering, we will be happy to make the product as long as you provide us with a minimum of 25# of venison per item per flavor. Please be aware, these specialty product batches are outside the scope of normal procedures.....it could take a little more time, so be patient.

We will still offer private batches for processing, but private batches will not be started until all community products have been processed. Private batches this year are still 25 pounds per item per flavor with no exceptions.

COUNTRY STORE VENISON PROCESSING ASKS ALL OF OUR CUSTOMERS TO BE COMPLETELY AWARE OF WHAT THEY ARE ORDERING at time of order placement this year and every year. PLEASE BE AWARE OF WHAT YOUR ORDER WILL COST, PLEASE BE AWARE OF HOW MUCH YOUR ORDER WILL YIELD, and PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU ARE COMPLETELY COMFORTABLE WITH YOUR ORDER BEFORE YOU LEAVE THE STORE.

COUNTRY STORE VENISON PROCESSING DOES NOT GUARANTEE WHEN YOUR ORDER WILL BE DONE, HOWEVER WE DO SOMETIMES GIVE ESTIMATES, AND THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT THEY ARE.....ESTIMATES. Please be patient as we process your order, COUNTRY STORE VENISON PROCESSING WILL CALL YOU, when your order is done.

We request that your order be picked up within five (5) days after being notified of completion. Any order left more than thirty (30) days without prior consent, will be considered abandoned and disposed of immediately. COOLER AND FREEZER SPACE IS LIMITED, so your cooperation will be greatly appreciated. For this upcoming year, with multiple orders not being picked up, and or left for multiple months, we have changed our deposit protocol. This year $100.00 deposit at time of drop off, and Credit Card number on file, so in case the order is not picked up in a timely manner, or at all.....it will be on file for payment application. Unfortunately a few can spoil it for the rest. We invest piles of time and money into custom processing, and when the order is not picked up, we can do nothing with the product other than donate it thru the Hunters Sharing the Harvest program.
